Everything's up in the air I'm going crazy throwing names around now because decision time's coming- baby shower's before birth, a couple of days after 20 week scan. Want to have the name ready to tell my family and few friends!

Mum is really adamant on not liking Jude and we're now starting to turn from it too. She says it's sour and girly and I can see that. aaarrrggghh!

Sorry about the vent. All things aside: what do what do you think of Moses Michael? Does Moses sound okay with my son's name Noah? Is it too mitchy matchy because of the fact that they're probably the most well recognised religious male figures (apart from God and Jesus of course)?

Also we like Ava for a girl because our other names weren't working.

So now we like Moses Michael for boy and Ava Ann for a girl. Opinions please, thanks. I don't know how the alliteration came about but we like it.

I think it's too matchy. I think Elijah (Eli for short) goes perfectly with Noah. What do you think about Mitchell and Isaac? And Lilith for a girl? Sorry, I'm not normally this specific, but I just think these go great with Noah.

I don't like Mitchell, I like Elijah but it's not screaming 'the name'. We once had a German exchange called Lilith come stay at our house for a few months. I don't hate it but don't love it. You don't like Ava?

I think it's way too matchy, and religious.

It's terrible that your mum's making come off Jude so much, maybe it would be less stressful for you if you just came up with some terrible name and when people ask what your going to name the baby just say that, while you figure it out.
If you really dislike Jude now, make sure it's you that dislikes it not just your mum.

(although I love the name Jude, I don't think it flows the best with noah, but if you like it you should)

Ava's okay, I don't like Ava Ann though.

I do like Noah and Moses on its own, but like.. as a sibset, it seems too close. Sorry.

I'm not a fan of the name Moses, and I do think its too matchy with Noah.

I love the name Michael as a middle name though.
