some mums are not as lucky as others to still be with there babys dad like me i would of loved to still be with my baby girls dad but he decided he didnt want nothing to do wih me a couple of months into my pregnancy which is hard because he already has two kids which he sees all the time and does everything with unyet he wants nothing to do with my little girl ellie-may i find it hard because although she is only 9 weeks old i am scared about what to tell her when she asks about him when she is older i will never lie to her but i dont want her blaming me or hating me for it. it is really hard bein 19 and bringing a child up on ur own although i wouldnt change her for the world i find it difficult not being with her father and being single

As for what you should tell your daughter....I would suggest that if he really wont be in the picture not to tell her, just at least not until she's older. I wouldn't make it a big deal either. She has a mother that obviously loves her and she is very lucky to have that. I was the child in this situation. My mother didn't want to tell me and I found out when I was 6 by someone else. I contacted the guy when I was 9 and his wife threw a huge fit and I havn't had contact with him since. My mother married an amazing man when I was 11 and he is 100% my father.
