Just letting everyone know about Noah's birthday


The day before his birthday, Noah had to have his injections at the doctors.. I was telling the doctor how Noah hasn't started crawling yet and how he kind of shuffles backwards while sitting up, but hadn't figured out how to go forward yet... I explained how he spends most of his days lying on his tummy and sitting up playing with toys... and couldn't understand why he just couldn't get the hang of it. Then, low and behold, I sit Noah on the floor and he starts shuffling forwards on the floor. I could not believe my eyes! The doctor just smiled at me and said "There you go!". I was so excited! The day before his 1st birthday, and it seemed like he had all of a sudden grown up so so much!

(Now I can't keep up with him!)

Noah's birthday was perfect! Just Noah, his daddy and me for the day. We had a nice bbq and ate cake and unwrapped presents.. and Noah ate his first cheese burger from maccas (haha).

I will post some pictures of him and his cake, which was a success - I believe! I stayed up all night (until 2am) making and decorating his cake. Noah must have known it was his birthdat because as soon as my head hit the pillow after hours of working on his cake.. he woke up! - and did not sleep again until 5am, mind you... So the night before his birthday was hectic, to say the least... No sleep until 5am, and that only lasted 'til 8am... Like I said - he must have known it was his birthday because every other night he sleeps solidly from 7pm-8.30am!!!


Anyway... sorry about the long story, lol.

Oh thats GREAT! Sorry Ididnt see this post ealier Happy birthday NOAH!! He looks so adorable andthe cake looks great!! Love that y'all hada nice day together and that he's crawling! My niece did the same thing, one day she she just cre=awled a inch or two the next day she was crawling EVERYWHERE! They really do grow up two fast!

Noah looked like he had a very memorable 1st birthday. You did an amazing job with his cute, it looks delicious! What flavor did it end up being?
