By Nellieag 1 Year Ago We've been on Tornado watch all week...
It sucks, our internet/cable has been in and out all week because of the storms. And as always my kids were sick... Elijah had infectious mucus build up in his intestines and was in the hospital all week. Charlie and Ezra got food poisoning. Noah contracted bronchitis from mold apparently. My husband's cousin moved out last week. It's been so hectic here. Ughh I just needed to vent.

Re:Hell week By AlyssaShayne 1 Year Ago Sounds like you're in the same region as me with the storms. These past two weeks have been crazy, literally storming really bad every single day, but thank goodness at my mom's we haven't lost any power, but at my dad's it just flickered during a really bad one, and a tornado touched down only 10-15 mins from us! Yesterday was the first time it was nice and sunshining and today's the same. But that sucks that your whole family has been sick! Sorry!
Alyssa

Re:Hell week By Colbi 1 Year Ago I live in an area that almost never actually sees tornadoes...and we've been on watch all week as well. We've had so many severe thunder storms...it's been crazy!
The other day, we had a tornado touch down just a few blocks from my work. The emergency weather service interrupted the radio to broadcast it...so I had to move all of my employees to the hallway, which has been deemed the safest place in the building in the event of a tornado - and we had to stay there until the NWS gave us the all-clear via the radio. The tornado actually hit the outside of our local College campus. Luckily, it was small and hit a wooded area. There were no injuries or major structure damages. I'm sorry you've had such a bad week...I can certainly relate to that. This whole year (with the exception of this pregnancy) has been hell. I hope everything gets better for you!

QUOTE: Yes, me too. We never get tornadoes, but every week SEVERE WEATHER ALERT is always blinking...and then every night at one in the morning, boom crash thunder. And then my dog won't stop barking, and he's got the most annoying little yip... To Nellieag, your situation sounds worse. Hope it works out.

By Nellieag 1 Year Ago I can't even imagine being pregnant throughout all of this.
Sick kids are a pain during thunder storms but with Noah on prednisone and the older kids have to sleep the bug off, they're pretty quiet. But the rest of my girls scream all night as soon as they hear thunder and now that Elijah's home he hates it as well so he cries when he hears it.

Re:Hell week By Kaismommy 1 Year Ago I live in Illinois (near Chicago) and the storms we had were horrible. The city next to ours had Severe Thunderstorm Warning, Flashflood Warning, and were on Tornado watch. As far as I know, nobody was hurt during the storm but there was a lot of damage caused by it.
