Did it just come out in the US today? I think it came out in the UK last week. I should probably know that but I've been too busy.. I know the premiere was last Thursday... I'm not a Harry Potter fan. I could just never get into it. My best friend wasn't allowed to watch the movies or read the books till she was 16 and then that was 3 years ago..

The premiere for us is today, yes. I haven't seen it yet. My parents want us to go and see it when the theaters will be less crowded, so there are less popcorn spills and less slushy spills when we go.

To honor the movies, my brother and sister have been watching Potter Puppet Pals for about a week. Ugh...

The big premiere with the cast and director and press and what not was on the 7th in the UK but it came out properly, for the public at midnight today (15th) in the UK as well.

I'm not a fan, personally, but took a Potter crazy friend as part of her birthday present. I struggled to stay awake waiting for it to start I have to admit haha! Midnight showings are hard when you're not excited yourself.

I read book 1-5 when they first came out and then just felt that enough was enough. Lost interest and film 1-5 are pretty bad in my opinion. There are a few key actors that are horrible I think. Anyway, it didn't really matter that I hadn't seen film 6 or part 1 of film 7 - I could still keep up well, because it's all so dragged out that you hardly need to see the middle! It was very fast paced in my opinion. Like they had already done all the thinking and mystery solving and all that was left for that film was a massive fight, blood, people running for their lives... I did cry though, haha! My friend I had with me didn't, and she is a massive, massive fan. She camped for 3 days to be at the proper premiere on the 7th. She however too thought it was too fast paced, rushed and not at all as good as part 1 of film 7. She was disappointed.

I went to the midnight showing too, with my older brother's drama friends. We all dressed up and stood in line from 3 in the afternoon. I've always been a big fan, but I'm glad it's over. I'm a bit Harry Pottered out...

I didn't mind how fast paced it was. Having read the book again last week, I thought they got it spot on. The parts of the book they covered in this movie WERE fast paced. It's like they get out of Gringotts and it's nonstop from there. They mixed things up and added things in that made it faster and more action-packed, but in general they did really good following the book and the feel of it. I found the first part (Book and movie) to be mostly filler and tying up loose ends.

@ Charlotte, I LOVE THEM. Wizard Angst is my favorite. haha

I went to watch it this afternoon! It was ok, but not as good as I expected it to be during some parts of the film!
