Yes, I think it may be a little more conservative in America than in Europe, but as you said, not much! People like me are surely a minority, and I understand that. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't share our beliefs and try to teach others what we think is good and right and help others.

15 year olds should be on the pill, some middle schoolers are already on the pill where i live but i disagree with having sex before you turn 18

I am almost 20 and I have a beautiful two year old boy (who is amazing and I would not change anything for the world). I think that at 17 if you're planning on having sex before marriage, you are pretty likely to do it! I have old school friends (christian up-bringing) who have always said they would wait for marriage, and they still are... and then friends who never really said they would wait (also christian up-bringing), and they didn't exaclty change their minds in their mid teens.

Everyone is different, but I would rather know she is protected. My Mum is going through the same thing right now with my 17 year old sister. My Dad actually ended up getting her the pill behind my Mum's back (they are divorced), because he could see what was going to happen. Sure enough, she had sex, but was luckily protected from then on (I am not quite sure if she had sex before then or not). My Mum ended up finding out, and my sister asked her to take her back to the doctor to get another prescription. My Mum finally realised it was for the best after 20 odd years of refusing bc to my other sisters and I, and ending up with two of her daughters falling pregnant in the teenage years.

No I'm all for you sharing your beliefs and I'm not saying what you think is wrong.. but are you saying what we think is wrong by not waiting and your way is the only right way? Not sure if that's what your saying so I'm not going to reply back as that. I just think if she's mentioning she might want to have sex with this boy her mum going "sex is bad until you're married" sure that's not going to work. since you've said you and your husband have waited I can understand you wanting your boys too. I just think for those parents who haven't (not saying the girls parents did or didn't) shouldn't expect it from their own children. It's overly hypocritical. But I think you and I can agree to disagree.

She's legal, AND at least she had the sense to ask about the pill. At least she's thinking about contraception, and not going behind her mothers back and having unprotected sex.
