She has her days and night backwards. I am not sure what kind of sleep schedule you have her on, but try keeping her up longer during th day. Yes this is harder but it has worked for me. Let me know how you are doing or send me a PM and I will see what other advice I can give you....Good luck

Well if you are breastfeeding she needs to eat every 2-3 hours to get her 8-12 feedings a day. Durring the day time wake if she is sleeping to feed her and durring the night let her sleep longer.

But, if you have a week old and she is sleeping for 4 hours at night, you are doing really well. If your first daughter did better than that count your self doublely lucky. Most babies are not like that.

Good Luck and I wish you sleep.

Sounds like Emeri has her nights and days mixed up, it happens. What you need to do is keep her awake during the day. I know that sounds easy, but you have to stimute her to keep her up. Tickle the bottom of her feet, put a cool wash cloth on her feet, try not to snuggle her as much during the day. Then at night swaddle her tightly with a receiving blanket. You can also warm a cloth diaper in the dryer and lay it in her crib so she feels the warmth. Also try using a swing at night, and you can sleep on the couch right near the swing. Keep trying, I am here for advice anytime. Good Luck Sweetie.

it might have something to do with her crib...but is that where she sleeps during the day too? if so and she has no problem during the day you might wanna keep her up more during the day then she will b tired a at night that is what I did with my baby and she started sleeping the whole night!!! So try that and let me know if it worked for you!

Hi,

Oh my dear,

You must be exhausted!
I would try soothing lullaby music along with using a nightime heartbeat bear. The combination worked wonderfully for our youngest grandchildren. I hope this helps.

Blessings,
Nonny
