try alexa, alexya, alexandra, just lexi, lexa, i know a girl names alexina

I think that Alexis is a wonderful name for your daughter when she's young, and also when she grows up if she wants to become a lawyer, doctor, or take up some other practice in which a more... dignified (no offense!) name would be very useful.

I'd personally name her Alexis and call her Lexi-Lou when she's little if you like, as a NICK-name. Some other names:

Alexia
Alexia
Lexi
Lexina
Alexina
Alexandra (you could call her Alexis, or Lexi-Lou... just a though!)
Alexandria
Alexanderina
Alexus (to make it a bit more unique!)
Alexine

My name is Alexis, and my neighbor has always called my Lexi-Lou. Definitly ONLY as a nickname. Alexis is a beautiful name though.

Id go for Alexis. or Just Lexi. Adding the Lou just makes the name terrible.

my name is Alexah and when i was little my dad always called my lexi lou. I dont think actually naming your child this would be the greatest idea but you could name her alexis and call her lexi lou
