One of the names we're considering for our twin boys is Max. My problem with it is that I like Max as a nn but really don't like any of the full versions of Max that I can find. Maxwell, Maximus or Maximillian.

Here's my challenge. Can anyone come up with some other names that could be shortened to Max? Maybe starting the name with Macks______ or ending in _______max or _________macks? Does that make sense?

I have the same issues with Luke and Leo. I love both names but don't really like Lucas or Luca for Luke or Leonard or Leopold for Leo.

So, alternatives for Max, Luke and Leo?

what about Luker? i know a Luker and we all call him Luke. if you're just going to call them their nn, them just make that their whole name

I think Luke is ok by itself. I have Luke Hunter on my list of names.
