Depends on how much they cost. Don't be stupid and spend loads of money on clothes they can't wear that long when you could spend it on something important like food or medical bills.

I agree, babys grow more than children and teens they grow alot faster when their young. I also agree that you mainly should put the money aside for more usefull items like swings and bikes and toy etc. Im not saying dont buy designer just not too much because they do grow up fast (just like mothers normanlly say 'How did my baby get so big)
Parents like to buy more exspensive clothes for special days i.e like party clothes. Many people buy designer clothes for party clothes so.Hope that helps by the way money you dotn spend baby can go to to other inportent things or exspensive things or just to you!

my daughter does have some expensive clothes. she has church clothes which double as party dresses, and her uniform(her preschool/future school is a traditional school). other than that its all play clothes she can muck up as she pleases.

I am a mother of two..and expecting this week. And I made the mistake of letting my husband buy our first child mostly ALL designer clothes before she was born...and she never even got to wear most of them at all. I do buy some designer clothes like Gap, ralph Lauren, but every once in a while. My daughter is now in Kindergarden and I bought all of her uniform pants from Gap only because I know that they would last longer and I wouldnt have to keep buying them. I was kind of addicted to buying my children designer shoes and clothes but it's not worth it..besides it doesn't teach your children to be apprecitive for what they do have.

Yes, they look so cute in them but they grow out of them so quickly and when they get older they tend to ruin them but does'nt everyone want the best for their children. I try not to spend much but if you leave me in a shop full of baby clothes or if i come across i site on the internet there is no stopping me.

I think Armani Junior and Ted Baker and Ralph Lauren and Dior are the best and you can even get designer dummies and bottles which are absolutley lovely and they don't grow out of them quick.
