hello Justins1favmom ,
You said" yes but there are all kinds of research saying that if you have gb during pregnancy and if you dont take care of your health chances of developing regular dietbieties are much higher."
Yes, but I said I had to "watch my diet". I never said you don't have to take care of your health.
You also said, " There is also research done to prove that people who have alot of dietbieties in there family are more likely to develope it during pregnancy. and if you dont believe me then go a0head and look it up ".
Again, I did not say you would not get diabetes later in life. I in fact said, that Me, my Mom, my Dad, and both my Mom's parents have all had Adult onset diabetes. And my sister who had GD is a candidate for diabetes, meaning she is borderline right now. I do not need to go read up on anything.I never said I doubted you.In fact I agreed on most parts with you. Have a great evening.

Thank you for the advise...
I'm a first time Mommy and just VERY nervous. I'm not even so much concerned with me... I just want my little girl to be born healthy and happy. I'm strong enough to deal with it... She isn't.

Just another story to ease your mind...
My sister-in-law was diagnosed with gestational diabetes at 30 weeks, and she just changed her diet and her baby was born naturally, one week before the due date, and weighed about 8 pounds. Her and the baby are both super happy and healthy, and the diabetes went away.
It's really cute because the Dad is really muscular, and instead of having a pudgy baby belly, the baby has a tight little tummy just like his dad!
