I have tried to offer a variety of vegetables to my nieces and we always eat our vegetables to lead by example, but we do not have much success. I will keep trying. Thank you for all of you that have posted on here. I appreciate the advice.

Is there any other advice?
Has any one used or read the cookbook Deceptively Delicious?

before I sent my daughter to a faster home she was REALLY picky with her vegies. They way I got her to eat them was i would have her go on a "mission." I would say "See these carrots, pease and corn? they need your help! they need to help your tummy feel full. So you need to help them by putting them in your tummy. and after the need you to go and play and pretend to be supergirl before Dr.evilHungrey comes to get them. So if you eat these you can pretend to be a supergirl." and that would get her EVERY time. BUT you always have to be creative when making a story or they won't be interested. ty it and see if your children have an active imagination!

Try 'the sneaky chef'
its got heaps of great recipes (a few of which have already been mentioned here) and ideas about how to get young picky children to eat. the ones who are too young to be reasoned with.

It even has brownies with goodness hidden in them. or pancakes hope it helps.

Slice em up into sticks or whatever you cut them into, and let the cild pick the dip. If he/she wants ketchup and carrots, so be it. Ketchup=bonus veggies in my book. Its tomatoes, after all.

Also, make smoothies of pureed veggies with berries and yogurt. I used to babysit a little boy whose mother had the hardest time getting him to eat his veggies. One day, we made carrot smoothies that were thinned/mixed with apple juice. He requested them constantly, and also loved when I threw strawberries pineapple in there in place of the apple juice.

My boy just went through a stage where he copies his brothers eating habits and that includes not eating vegtables, they used to throw them across the table or onto the floor so i tried allsorts of ways to get them to try them.

I tried Dips
Chopping them up
Making Faces
Playing Games
Maths( where i would put a certain amount on the table and when you would take a carrot or pea away they would have to eat it)(it was educational aswell but i took time.)
I told them alsorts of thing to like eat carrots and you can see in the dark.

But i found Maths and Dips the best way.
