you can have eggs, as long as they are fully cooked, no runny yolk. there are some herbs and things as well that arent good, but i dont have my list with me... also caffiene is not so good, and carbonated drinks, anything unpasteurised.soda is not recommended, but it is okay to enjoy it on occasion. diet soda is in question, because aspartame is thought to cause cancer, although theyre not totally sure. artifical sweeteners are usually made with chemicals.the phosphoric acid if you have enough can cause bone mass loss. energy drinks are also a big no-no. water can help prevent headaches and dizziness.

so basically, if your pregnant, dont eat or drink anything and you'll be fine.
i grew up on a farm, drinking milk straight from the cow, running thru fields with no shoes on, drinking unfiltered water and unwashed corn and stuff right out of the fields. we touched cows and horses and pigs and sheep and chickens and didnt wash our hands after. we ate eggs straight from the hens...with all the research and no-nos out there im wondering how im still alive.

Puck, is the carbonation an issure or just the surgar and caffine?

What all kinds of cheese do you not eat when pregnant? I didn't know that about mayonaise either! Thanks for the info!

cariannds & iluvandy- carbonated water and stuff is ok, i just said carbonated because that usually means soda. iced tea and coffee are ok in moderation, like one cup a day wont hurt. and i had my iced tea with cane sugar or pasteurised honey. im not at all sure what splenda is, i would look it up before using.

i gained 68 pounds with the last baby, some people just do. alot of it was water. a lot. and i ate good foods. if you're hungry ,eat, because your baby is hungry too.

happy2bme- blue cheese is definetly a no-no. i will have to find my book, im not a fan of soft cheese at all, so i dont have it on my list.
