I had migraines everyday from about my 14th week until about my 22 week...it was horrible. My dr told me that it was my body getting used to all the estrogen and that they could actually get worse as the pregnancy progresses.

As a general rule the only thing you can take is tylenol, although my dr had me trying other drugs, he also recommended that I drink a can of coke when I take the tylenol because sometimes the caffeine helps.

Other than that the best thing you can do is sit in a cold dark place and try to take a nap. I usually wrapped myself up in a blanket with just my head sticking out, cranked up the AC, and put an ice pack on top of my head while I wore one of those masks that go over your face and eyes, then I took a nap, seemed to do the trick since mine were so bad I wanted to beat my head against the wall until it popped.

Anyways, hopefully this helped, and hopefully you won't get anymore. Best of luck to you.

I HAD THEM WITH BOTH MY PREGNANCIES. BUT THEY WERE 100 IMES WORSE WITH MY SECOND. WITH MY FIRST PRESCRIBTION TYLENOL WORKED BUT NOT WITH MY SECOND. MY DOCTOR PRESCRIBED IMITREX(SPELLING?) A MIGRANE MED. IT DID THE TRICK. MINE WERE SO BAD I COULDN'T FUNCTION OR TAKE CARE OF MY OLDER SON. AND I WOULD GET THEM EVERYDAY!!! SO GOOD LUCK YOU MIGHT TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR AND SEE ABOUT A PRESCRIBTION MED EVERY IF IT IS JUST A HIGHER MILIGRAM OF TYLENOL.

I do not get migraines but I have chronic daily headaches. Sometimes, they feel just as bad if not worse than migraines. Before I got pregnant the only thing that would help was ibuprofen. Now that I am pregnant, I am limited to Tylenol. It does not work. I talked to my doctor though, and there are medicines they can prescribe for headaches to pregnant woman. At 58.99 though, it was a bit steep for my measly budget. Anyway, I would tell you to talk to your doctor about medicines you could try to help, but considering you and your husband are trying to conceive (if I read that right) I would probably not recommend starting a migraine medication.
