hi everyone!

i just wanted to ask all you ladies how long it took to get pregnant once you began trying to conceive your children?
i am fairly young (24) as is my husband (27) and we have been trying for 4 months with no luck. it's definitely not too long, but we really want it to happen! we have been trying for a period of 7 days surrounding my ovulation, the days leading to, the days of, and the days after.
other than that, can you suggest anything? (other than getting checked out by a doc, which we will see about doing anyway).

hey! when me n my husband had our first kid! it took me over a year to get preg n i was only 19 n my husband was 21!
it depends on yur body n yur husbands sperm count!
we were starting to go to the dr to get help n see what the problem was n when i was waiting to have my period to c if i ovulated my period never came n I WAS PREGNANT!!
so it was a great surprise i honestly thought i wouldnt ever be able to be pregnant.

that's really great to hear! congrats on your little ones! the waiting part is the hardest, i think every woman fears that she might not be able to get pregnant :/
but we'll keep trying! i heard if you stress out too much about it too, that might not help, so i'll try to relax a little. thanks for responding

it took my husband and i a year to conceive so keep on practicing

my husband and i had been trying to concieve for a while, trying to get it around my time of ovulation etc...in the end we went on a vacation and while we were planning it we decided we wud not keep worry about this strict regime due to us being away for just over 3 months and wanting to make the most of our overseas holiday. whilst on vacation we did it anywhere and at any time in anyway (kitchen, bed of hotel morning nite etc) was a great holiday as my husband and i became closer no longer having to worry about we can only have sex during certain times etc, upon returning home we discovered i was about pregnant with twins....i suggest givning this a try you never no what might happen. you dont have to go on a vacation maybe just be more creative in how/when/where you have sex, be spontaneus like have sex in the shower or dinning room etc....good luck and hope all is well

it really depends on ur body and ur husband's body. with my ex fiancee i tried for over a year and nothing. This time i wasn't even trying and within four months bam! im pregnant. i was beginning to think i couldn't get pregnant well....guess i was wrong!
