definitely don't like the name George, but it is nice to carry on a tradition... I agree to use it as a middle name (if the hubby can handle that), but like another girl said, George just doesn't fit for a baby... but you could always call him Georgie when he's a baby

Georgie sounds like a girls name sorry
I think you should name him George and then a middle name which you could call him by or like someone suggested spell George Jorge and then a D name and then it'd be JD

Well, as a George, I can tell you that school wasn't really fun until I memorized "George of the Jungle" theme song, just to keep being teased. However, I really do like my name now that I'm older.

well thank you all for your help. i didn't realize so many people out there actually liked the name. i still have no clue what i am going to do though. i'm trying to push james george cause james is his other grandpa's name and then george which is everyone elses name. that way it could still be in the family. he's hard to read cause he hasn't said no but he hasn't really said yes either. i just get a look. well thanks for all your help, it's nice to hear that the name isn't a complete loss. we'll see what happens, i have just over 7 weeks left so we'll see what happens. thanks all
