George is a hard name to use right now, it is a older man's name to me. But the older woman names have made a come back so why not George? But if there is so many other George's in your family, why not call him his middle name? My nephew is a Kenneth Jr. and they call him Kip, he's 16 now and it fits him well. i think its fabulous that you would like to carry on the family name but.......George just doesn't fit a baby. maybe an adult but not a little kid! i thjink you should most definitely give him that as his middle or first name and call him by his other name. for instance: George Michael.........you could call him michael but still have the name George in it. if you don't like the name George ALWAYS use it as a middle name! hope i helped! Hello ! i was doing some research on names and i saw your posting ! I just ad to tell you that i think the name George is absolutley fabulous. It is my sons middle name. It was also my grandpas. I ike the idea of carrying on tradition also i like the fact you do not hear it anymore. Granted it is my sons middle name, it has been ages since i hear georg as a first, i think it would be great to be putting some more wonderful georges out there ! Hope this helps !
