Being a Grandma myself I am shocked to read this thread. I would never attempt to pierce my granddaughter Josie's ears without her mom telling me to do it! I have often thought of how adorable she'd look with them, but Lindsey wants to wait until she is older. Wow, I would of reacted the same way as you did with your mother. Hopefully she will call and apologize, although it might take some time.

thats too bad she was being rotten my daughters grandmother cut her hair on me when she had her for the weekend without asking so i know the feeling its very unlikely after this she would attempt something again

Yeah she's not being with the boy's unless i'm there and at the moment I am not talking to her so the boys won't be seeing her for a while

Good for you Brieal, for telling her. You obviously have a great guy, who deeply loves the family you are creating. He got stabbed right in the heart by your mom this morning, but you came to defend him. Being a grandma myself, I would never, never, do something like that to my grandchild. Obviously, she is using your children like a pawn, and I would not allow her to ever use them again. Who knows what she filled their little heads this past week, if she has so little mouth control. I cannot even imagine what those two had to listen to all week.
