I am not too keen on Tyler for a girl, I prefer Taylor for a girl.

I just have to ask. What will the surname of the little one be. Please do not say it has alot of E's in it as well. This feels like deja vu to me.

I just had a granddaughter, born 2 weeks ago, and I had asked my son one thing, and that he would be careful not to include names with E's in them. Well, my granddaughters name is registerd as:

Rylee Elyse Wiebe.......................and I cried. I should have been more pushy, been that mother in law, that I do not want to be, instead of just trusting them. The other family came in, and took over the naming process, and this is what I was presented with. I was soooooooooo disappointed, and in absolute shock. I could have had a Genevra reaction right then and there, in the other moms face- who just sat there with a smirk.. Anyone who knows me on here, know how I would react for having been lied too, and some other women taking over naming my granddaughter. I stayed out of it, as I respected their wishes. Sorry for the rant tonight. This week I am kind of coming out of the funk of it.

But when I read these names, Braydnsmum, I just had to say please do not overuse the E's, especially if the surname continues with the E sound. Just out of thoughtfullness, ask your mom for her advice, and make sure daddys mom will also be involved in names, if you involve 1 mom, give both moms the curtesy. Please. Thank U.

Don't worry Genevra, there are definatley no ee's in the last name because it is Thompson. I actually didn't realise about all of the ee's until someone pointed it out and I am no longer keen on it either. I am sorry to hear what happened with your granddaughters name although I do love the name Rylee - it is gorgoeus!
As for the other mum who had the smirk on her face - I am a big believer in what goes around comes around. I hope your week gets better.
