Last night I was up late and I just couldn't sleep, Shea was moving a lot and I was just restless. Ryan woke up and tried to coax me to sleep, it really didn't work, we tried a lot but I don't know my body wasn't stopping the babies weren't sleeping so whatever. At like 3 am Ryan and I were sitting on the couch and than he started talking to my belly like really closely and was saying stuff like oh you girls need to stop blah blah stuff like that and all of sudden Ella moved. Ella rarely moves, it was a little weird, I'm still a little freaked on the idea of something moving inside me but still.. So the babies really never stopped moving because Ryan kept talking to them so I only got like an hour of sleep.

Do you think Ella responded to his voice or was it just a Coincidence, 'cause I talk to them all the time and she barely ever moves so what do you think!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Hey! I think babies can respond to voices, because they can hear you, and my sister read to her baby while she was pregnant with him, and she said he would be moving around, and when she would start reading to him he would be still as if he were going to sleep. But yes, it may be because she heard her daddy talking to her. Its good to talk to them and get the dad to talk to them while they are in the womb so they can get use to your voice and recognize you when they come out. I think its so cool how they can do that!

babies do respond to voices in utero. they are used to hearing yours & ryans voices thats why they will be comforted by them after they are born.
