Yeah, I really don't get it. What names do you BOTH agree on? I want to help as well but I can't because it seems every decent suggestion people provide you knock it down.

He likes Madeleine for a first and so do I. I am not knocking the names

His collegue at work has used Grace, Rose, Sophia
His nieces are Samantha, Nicole, and Aliyah
Our daughters have used Renee, Rae (is her nick name our other daugher, and Ann

I am as frustrated as you he says nothing has hit him that he likes but if I want to use Kennedy I can for a middle name

However everyone, friends, tells me it is a very long name- she better be good at spelling

so I want alternative names I am PRAYING my husband doesn't vetoed I am frustrated

Tell us more about the Kennedy issue. Please. We really are trying to help you here, but you need to provide some info about his concerns, and what the problem is. Does he want a longer middle name, then, please read my post about 3+ syllables, and you, together, may come up with your own resolution. Kennedy is very lovely, with Madeleine, and don't talk to all your friends, and expect them to give you the thumbs up. Why does their opinion matter. Stand tall, and make a decision for yourself. If you like it, use it.

And lastly, when choosing a middle name, I just recommend that the last letter of the first name, is not the same as the first letter of the second name- nor that the middle name end in B, as your surname starts with B.
