Hello

Have you thought of a longer first name? Giving a name like Katherine or Kathleen or Kate or Kaitlynn adds some depth, regality, and formality that your baby can use when she grows up while provides PLENTY of nicknames, like Katie.
My name is Katherine and I have used Katherine and Katie as I've grown up and now I approach the end of high school and I'm tempted to switch to Kate for college. I am thankful my parents gave me such an open name so that I can have the freedom of choosing which name to go with.
Also, because you will probably end up calling her Katie anyway, you don't have to worry about her picking a random nickname you don't like- especially when she's six. But as she matures, she might like experimenting and finding which name fits her.
You are the Mom- so I trust you know best.
Enjoy your baby and I wish you the best with Little Katie- we can be a handful

Also- Katie Nicole or Katie Noelle best.
- Katherine (Katie) L
