name HELP! Aloha? By casey27 3 Years, 7 Months Ago Hey,
My husband really wants to name our soon-to-be daughter Aloha Rose. I do not agree. I think people will make fun of it, but can't come up with any specifics or reasons to present to him. Any thoughts on this? Any of you like it? We are not Hawaiin. We live in Minnesota.

Re:name HELP! Aloha? By susieqzee 3 Years, 7 Months Ago altho the word sounds pretty, it is a greeting, like naming your child Hi, Bye, or hey!
If it is the Hawaiian sounding name might I suggest Leilani Rose which is lovely and has a great meaning too. If it is the A sound, might I suggest Alannah, which is Irish and means O Child, beloved one....Alannah Rose would be lovely to.
