My friends had both of their sons in the NICU. Their oldest son was born at 27weeks weighing only 2lbs 14oz. I know how hard it is to see them in such a state but take alot of pictures. They may be hard memories but they are precious memories. Even though its tough to think about now, its something that you will cherish in time to come. Its memories of your child being strong and conquering one of their hardest steps in life...survival....I couldnt imagine them not having pictures to look back at of the boys when they were in the NICU sometimes its a good reminder of things that matter most in life...YOUR FAMILY...no matter what the day brings it lets you know that you have come through harder things and done just fine...Please take alot of pictures because I know you will regret it later if you dont...you will see the pictures of their faces not the tubes and wires.

yes my husband has been taking lots of photos....i myself would try but i havent been able to see the boys as much as i like due to my older sister having some family troubles atm as her husband has moved out and left her and the kids behind so she has needed support even though my boys need me i know my husband can be with them while i try and help my sister through this rough patch....the twins are in oxygen hubs ( i think that is the name) and they are breathing by themselves with the extra support of these, dominic's is at a higher level than nate's but they sed they will try turn it down within the next few weeks....atm it looks like they will be going in the bottom rooms where they do not require as much attention we are not 100% sure yet what one but they are def improving as time goes on, i am hoping they will be home in Nov or at least in the rooms at the hospital where we look after the babies but they nurses are available if needed.
