Hi so i need help my little sister & i both went to the doctor tuesday just a checkup nothing major well i didnt have to have an eye exam as i had had one a few months ago but she did & she went & took the exam & we find out she needs glasses she thought it was cool right then because my little brother has glasses & has had them since he was about 3 & she looks up to him so being like him was a plus well today she went back so they could be sure & they were right she did need them & so she went with my parents to pick out a pair today she just got a pair of brown ones that look like my little brothers because in her words "these look like Dannys & they match my hair" (she is so my little sister) but then she started crying saying she didnt want glasses & now she says our dogs dont like her because of her glasses & telling me she isnt wearing these to the next party we go to because she will be like the only one in the whole building wearing glasses shes wrong of course but shes so freaked out & i want to help her but i dont know how i dont wear glasses none of us do except my little brother shes only 6 so maybe shell grow out of it but shes so worried people will make fun of her & so worried she wont look "normal" anymore it hurts to watch & listen to i need to help her but i dont know what to say can anyone help?

Maybe get a fmaily friend who wears glasses to talk to her baout how cool they are and she'll realise that they are ok to wear

Well thats what were aiming at because one of my best friends & her little sister are at my house all the time & they both wear glasses but my friend recently got contacts because she loathed her glasses just hated them but her sister was just kind of whatever about it but i think my friend might have rubbed off on her a little

I really dont get it especially as she was so excited yesterday because shes getting Hannah Montana glasses (ugh)

maybe someone she knows teased her about it or something. i would just say to her how much id want glasses and how pretty they make her look and stuff. haha "Hannah Montana" lol, i really dont like that show lol.
