so i was talking to my mum on the phone she is in australia....she was saying how she watched montel and they had a family on who had 16 kids, born 18 months apart only 2 sets of twins and all started with the letter J....they ranched from age 18 to 1 and the mum said she could probably have more....i just dont really see how they could do this and the expenses.

they said they had used 90,000 nappies and still counting
showed a shopping bill of over $800 and im not sure how long this lasts

was just wonderin how ppl with big families could handle the expenses, come college i would not know how they would be able to pay for their children to go to college as they would pretty much have one leave for college every year...

anyways i was a tad bored while i wait for the hubbie to get home from work before we see the twins so yeh thort id drop a line as i have no idea how ppl cud handle soo many children...anyone else from big families who cud give me a little insight

I think you must be talking about the Duggars they are on their 18th bio kid all J names & they homeschool their children but we have 8 kids in my family & us 6 youngest are homeschooled my two oldest went through private school & college i went to private school for kindergarden & 1st my older brother for kindergarden 1st & 2nd as for bills im not sure my dad is the only one who works but weve never wanted or needed for anything actually were spoiled by a lot of peoples standereds but i feel weve been raised right but thats how i see it

i think youre talking about the Duggars. if you ever catch them on the telly, they are quite good at cutting corners. the older girls know how to sew, they make alot of the familys clothes, and at one point were selling some as well. they use alot of coupons etc. i am not sure how cost effective one can be with that many kids. i'm one of 6, and weve never wanted for anything, but i have a feeling it would be a whole different story with 16. i would definetly invest in cloth diapers if i were her.

yeh i think mum mentioned a name starting with D lol wow 18 kids i dont think i would be able to handle it lol, they nearly have a whole aussie rules footy team lol...im glad to see tho that they are able to raise soo many children with soo much love and care and with out having to struggle from pay check to pay check, although i would invest in cloth nappies if i were here lol

I'm not sure what to think about this family. Part of me is upset about such large families because there are soooo many kids who don't have a home...

I would be just a little worried about her uterus after 18 children.
