Book you read today to your child.................
By DONE GOODBYE genevra 3 Years, 6 Months Ago
Do you read a book to your child, before he/she goes down for naptime. Does your hubby/or you, read to each child individually, or do you do it enmasse, if you have more than one child. Do you read to them at bedtime, during the day sporatically, and what books do they like. Give us samples of the titles.

My son is reading to my little granddaughter already, he loves reading, and loved it when I read to him, when he was little. Rylee is only 6 weeks old and already he is reading to her. I am so proud of that. She has a well stocked library, I found multiple boxes of books, my son had when he was young, at a garage sale, so I loaded up on them for her. We are a reading family. Do you go to the local library to borrow books with your children?

For nap, if my husband has her he will read, if I have her we will read, if she's at daycare I don't think she gets a book.
We will also read to her sporadically throughout the day.
Lately we been reading and ABC book about ants. She just got a Disney book of multiple story’s for her birthday and she has tons of other books. Elmo and the Zoo, The Four Seasons, Minosaur, Peter Rabbit, Let Count Baby, Etc.

we read during the day and at bedtime. right now we are going through the if you...series. a few titles are:
if you give a mouse a cookie if you give a pig a pancake
my 3 year old can read most of it from memory, and sounds out the simple words (me, you, pig, cat).
other favourites are robert munsch and dr seuss, and berenstain bears. my 4 month old son also tunes in when we read, if there is something familiar he will perk up and smile.
