Ok, most of you know that I'm onlt 18 but foster parenting and adopting is something I've always wanted to do. I guess since I grew up with adopted brothers and sisters.
The problem I'm having is google sucks. I've googled foster parent qualifications, how to become a foster parent, foster parent forums, etc., etc., etc., And I have come up with nothing...... My mom quit taking foster kids when I was 7 cuz we moved so much. And she said that I should be able to find some thing on the internet.... LIES!!
Is anyone on here a foster parent or looking into foster parenting? I don't want to get into it immediately as we've taken on my niece full time and we have Connor/Iona on the way plus on one site they said you usually have to be 21 but I just want to know what Brandon and I need to do or whatever to qualify in the future. Kinda get used to it now so its not such a change for the kids later kind of thing.
If anyone on here has any info or can find sites, it would be greatly appreciated!! Cuz I'm at the end of my rope with searching.....
