so i found this on my Grandma's fridge I thought it was pretty and inspiring and just wanted to share it with you guys. Tell me what you think!!
When I Say I am a Christian Poem

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not shouting "I am saved"
I'm whispering "I was lost"
That is why I chose this way.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble
And need someone to be my guide.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak
And pray for strength to carry on.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed
And cannot ever pay the debt.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are all too visible,
But God believes I'm worth it.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I still feel the sting of pain
I have my share of heartaches
Which is why I speak His name.

When I say..."I am a Christian"
I do not wish to judge.
I have no authority.
I only know I'm loved.
I love this poem its so pretty. Plus it tells us and other people just because we believe in GOD it doesnt mean were perfect but he loves us anyway. Just like Bob and Larry say on Veggie Tales( I still watch that)

That is a very beautiful and very truthful poem

yeah it makes me realize I should be who I am and show his love even if it means loosing my friends or getting made fun of( I go to a public school) for ex. I have this pen that I love and use all the time it says "take time to pray." well today I was messing around with my friend waving my pen in her face and she grabbed it and looked at it and said eewwww and threw it at me I was just like what?! She's just like "yeah take time to pray what ever!" I just shook my head " well sorry I am a none believer and not perfect!" she snaped at me.
I just said"neither am I" , she just starred at me. We are still friends just sometimes that gets in our way most of my other friends go to church though or have started which makes me happy!

Ya know, hopeluvkaers...losing friends and family because of my faith is one of the hardest things for me. My brother hasn't talked to me in over a month because of the beliefs I have...it breaks my heart.

I'm sorry. hopefully he will come around sometime. One of my friends didn't believe at all before. But then her and her family started going to church they now go to church every week!
I'll be praying for you and your family!
