Adoption v.s Biological
By Kenley 3 Years, 3 Months Ago
Nic and I have already started talking about more children. Pretty much since we found out we were having triplets.) Lately adoption has came up alot in our conversation. Him and I are for it and would love to take in a child. But love to have another one of our own too. It'd have to be a baby that can't talk yet because we are a Italian speaking family or adopting from Italy then it could be any age. We mentioned it to my parents and my mother isn't to thrilled. She'd much rather love it if we had another on of our own.
So I was just wondering what your opinions are of Adopted children v.s Biological children...
We know that it's a long drawn out process but we don't care and would be ready for it.

I think adoption is great! So needed.

I will try to have biological children to obey God's commandment in Genesis...but if we are unable to have children, we will adopt, no fertility treatments.

Good luck

i think if u have the patience to wait for the process and can give a child who would otherwise have nothing, a loving home FULL of brothers and sisters then GO FOR IT!!
seriously, if after having triplets, and having more kids already @ home and u still want more than ur a blessing to a child who needs you, wherever they come from ..

I'm sorry, but I think it seems rather selfish of your mom to not love an adopted child as much.

I think adopting is great. Theres so many kids in need of homes around the world. If you have the money, then go for it.

And I dont think it would matter if they cant speak italian yet... When Angelina Jolie adopted Pax he was like 3 or 4, I think and couldnt speak english, but he can now and he's also learning french as a second language. It would take more work, but I think it would be worth it.

I'm for adoption. If you already have been given the gift of having child then why not give a gift back by taking in a child. It might be a long drawn out expensive process, but I think anything good is worth waiting for. Why have another if you could help a child that needs a home. Just my opinion. I'm hoping one day I will be able to adopt a child that is in need.

good luck with whatever you and your family choose.
